Police arrested a 61-year-old Pennsylvania man in Seneca Falls for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Fall Street.
According to police Shawn Cooney, 61, of Scranton, Pennsylvania was charged with DWI, driving with a BAC over 0.08%, failure to keep right, and unsafe turn without a signal.
Police report that Cooney’s vehicle had crossed the centerline of the roadway and then turned without using a turn signal. When stopped by police Cooney was observed to be intoxicated.
Cooney was issued uniform traffic tickets and an appearance ticket. He was then released.
