Deputies in Wayne County investigated a personal injury crash that happened in the town of Williamson over the weekend.
On Saturday around 1:15 a.m. James Mitchell, 64, of Webster was traveling west on Seeley Road when he went off the roadway due to reported mobile phone usage while driving.
He went off the south side of the road, rolled over a ditch, and entered into a patch of trees. The vehicle flipped and ultimately came to rest on its driver’s side doors.
Mitchell was able to exit the vehicle through the windshield. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with shoulder pain.
No other information about the crash was released.
