Firefighters say an overnight blaze at a home in Webster was likely started by a lightning strike.
It happened at a home on Sunningdale Rise. The fire started on the roof- then spread to the rest of the home.
It was reported to first responders around 1:20 a.m. as a batch of thunderstorms moved through the area with close lighting strikes and plenty of thunder.
First responders say to make matters worse, the fire burned in the roof- undetected for nearly 40 minutes before being detected.
The person living inside the home was able to get out.
The property is said to be a total loss.
