The Penn Yan Police Department responded to multiple incidents related to the storm that happened on Wednesday night.
At 5:32 p.m. officers responded to a call on Lake Street where the needed to direct traffic around and area that flooded.
At 5:37 p.m. they were called to Maple Avenue where power lines had fallen and partially blocked the road.
At 5:48 p.m. officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Clinton Street and Benham Street when a vehicle had hydroplaned through the stop sign and struck a vehicle traveling on Clinton. One passenger was transported to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital for treatment.
Several limbs were down which needed to be removed from roadways.
