Joseph ”Joe” During has been honored with the title of Director Emeritus, posthumously by The CFCU Community Credit Union.
During is the first board member to receive this type of recognition.
Director Emeritus is a title that honors board members who have successfully served their terms on the Board and made significant contributions.
Joe, who passed in 2021, served 18 years on the Board and many of those years as treasurer. He brought industry understanding and positivity to CFCU.
Lisa Whitaker, President & CEO, CFCU Community Credit Union expressed the team’s gratitude for During, stating that his service, experience, and care were invaluable and would be missed by all.
During was involved in other organizations, like the Cortlandville Fire District and the United Way of Cortland as well.
