Our Town Rocks organization receives funding for multiple summer events

The Our Town Rocks Health Improvement Project was the recipient of a $5,000 award from the Yates Emergency Relief Fund of the Yates Community Endowment and Rochester Area Community Foundation.

OTR’s goals include advancing the health of individuals and families in the Dundee School District and doing so by addressing the determinants of health.

The organization seeks to improve health through advancing education, increasing socialization and alleviating poverty.

OTR plans to use the funds for summer youth and family activities under the guidance of Yates County Public Health.
