The Keuka Arts Festival will be happening this year Sept. 18 and 19.
The event was cancelled last year due to Covid, and in order to not need to cancel it for a second year, the date was postponed until more information was available surrounding events.
Due to the reliance local artists have on summer festivals, the organizers of the event did not want them to miss out again after being hit hard last year.
The festival features around 100 vendors and entertainers and brings around 10,000 visitors. It vis held along the Outlet Trail in Penn Yan and includes the work of painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers, woodworkers, and fiber artists.
Food, wine and beer tasting booths are also a part of the event with various types of free entertainment throughout the weekend.
The Yates Endowment helped support the event with a grant from the Covid recovery fund.
The event is organized by volunteers from the Arts Center of Yates County.
Artists and vendors interested in participating can find applications on the Festival website: www.keukaartsfestival.com
Admission is free.
