Police ask Geneva residents to lock vehicles after string of larcenies

Police in Geneva are asking residents to lock vehicles at night after a string of larcenies in the city.

“We have seen them all over the city,” Geneva Police Lt. Matt Valenti told the Finger Lakes Times.

To date, money and other items have been taken from unlocked vehicles on Herbert, Wadsworth, and Rose streets. They have also happened in other areas of the city.

Typically, they’re occurring during the overnight hours. Police ask residents to lock their car doors at all times.
