Tompkins County is receiving funding from the American Rescue Plan worth $19.8 million dollars. The funding is a one time thing for services in need due to the pandemic.
The Tompkins County Legislature is looking for the community’s input on how to spend the funds.
Residents are asked to submit a survey by June 28th and the results will start the discussion between the public and Legislature.
The Budget Committee meeting on June 30th at 5 p.m. will be live streamed on YouTube and that is where the planning will begin.
