In support of the Special Olympics of New York, the Flame of Hope is making its way around the state with the Law Enforcement Torch Run and passed through Ontario County Thursday.

The Torch Run is a tradition that’s been happening for more than 30 years and is led and organized by the Guardians of the Flame, made up of over 6200 law enforcement personnel from over 470 agencies throughout New York State.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office shared photos of the event on their Facebook page.
