Canandaigua in Bloom event this Saturday

This Saturday will be the 2021 Downtown Canandaigua in Bloom event.

Different things will be happening throughout downtown including a ‘Paint the Town’ event, antique and classic car show, shopping, dining, the farmers market, and Central on Main.

Paint the Town will be happening from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and artists are invited to participate in a community paint out on Main Street. Registration is at 9 a.m. the morning of the event and participants must do so at either Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery, 71 S. Main St., or the P. Tribastone Fine Art Gallery, 32 S. Main St. Artists will paint from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and bring the painting of their choice back to the galleries. Viewing and sale of the paintings will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Anyone wanting to participate in the car show on Main Street from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. can register by emailing [email protected]. All registered participants will receive a $10 downtown Canandaigua gift certificate. Cars lining Main Street are limited to the first 45 registrations.


Downtown Canandaigua’s shops, restaurants and breweries will be open for summer tastings.

The farmer’s market, located at 167 Mill St. under the pavilion, will be open from 9 a.m. until noon.

Central on Main is the dining venue for downtown Canandaigua located at 111 S. Main St. open every Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and offers menus from ten different restaurants with meals delivered to your table.

There will be live music at the Beer and Wine Garden Friday and Saturday night from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and this weeks music lineup is made up of Bloomfield Academy Jazz Band, the Canandaigua Academy Jazz Band, and a local professional musicians jazz jam.

Paulsen and Baker Band with Tim Chaapel is performing Saturday.
