The Sands Center for Allied Health received $3 million in contributions from the Sands Family Foundation.
This expansion will allow an increase to the number of students accepted into the nursing program and for the addition of an LPN program. The project is also planning to include a larger simulation lab and a holography lab.
This project also allows for the expansion of students entering the nursing field, something that’s become incredibly important over the last year during the pandemic.
The first phase of the project includes the renovation of the current space which should be finished by late August. The buildings being added will open during the 2021-22 school year.
