A bill has been approved this week that would allow New Yorker’s who don’t currently qualify for a retirement plan to be able to enroll in the Secure Choice Savings Program.
This program will require companies with at least 10 employees who don’t already offer their workers a retirement plan to enroll them in an IRA unless the worker chooses not to.
This measure will now go in front of Governor Cuomo for consideration.
