Geneva City Council is getting a look at the proposal to overhaul the American Legion property along Lochland Rd.
The goal of developers is to turn the property into a hotel, townhomes, and restaurant with brewery inside it. Lakefront Development Corp. LLC is leading the way along with Pine Ridge Construction Management.
To move forward the property will need to be rezoned to lakefront district-planned unit development. The project will be reviewed by the Ontario County Planning Board on June 21.
Council is expected to approve a resolution at its meeting Wednesday evening that will establish it as the lead agency for the State Environmental Quality Review to determine the project’s effect on the environment, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Representatives from the development firm will be on-hand at the meeting.
