Geneva City Council will discuss streetscape at tonights meeting

Geneva City Council will be meeting tonight, June 1st, to discuss the future of Geneva’s streetscape.

Sage Gerling, Geneva City Manager, said that a recent walkthrough gave people a better idea of what this project will look like.

Gerling explains that it’s hard to visualize how much public street we will be gaining, but that by bringing the sidewalk out into the road, pedestrians will be reclaiming space.

An app will be available for download that helps track the progress of construction called Instant Input next week.

The City Council will meet tonight in the Scandling Center at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. There will be limited in-person attendance and the meeting is available to stream on YouTube.
