Suspicious vehicle complaint leads to arrests in Seneca Falls

Police say two people were taken into custody after a suspicious vehicle investigation at a local business.

On May 30 around 7:48 a.m. the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Casandra M. Remillard, 31, and Jordanne L. Wood, 37, both of Oneonta following a complaint of suspicious vehicle at a local business.

Police found that both Remillard and Wood possessed a large amount of packaged material representative of controlled substances with the intent to sell it.


Both were charged with one count of Possessing an Imitation Controlled Substance, a Class A Misdemeanor. In addition, Remillard was charged with numerous Vehicle and Traffic violations that included Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree, Failure to Surrender a Suspended License, Failure to Notify DMV of an Address Change and Unlicensed Operator.

Police say Remillard and Wood were released on Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to answer the charges on a later date.
