Mets-Braves series finale postponed

Like many New Yorkers, the Mets had their best-laid Memorial Day Weekend plans washed away.

Sunday’s Mets-Braves game was postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Monday, July 26, at 5:10 p.m. ET. The Mets and Braves managed to play just one of their three scheduled games this weekend at Citi Field, with the other two washed away.

Friday’s postponed game was rescheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader on Monday, June 21, at 5:10 p.m.

Between rain, snow and COVID-19 considerations, the Mets have had 11 postponements so far this season. They have played 45 games.
