Deputies: Seneca Falls man made fraudulent claim for public assistance

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Seneca Falls man following an investigation into a claim for public benefits.

Kevin Gillon, 33, was charged with offering a false instrument for filing.

It’s alleged that Gillon intentionally filed a false application for public assistance benefits in which he attempted to defraud the county’s Division of Human Services.

Gillon was processed and released on an appearance ticket for Waterloo Village Court.
