Police say a 27-year-old Geneva resident faces serious felony charges after a family trouble complaint on Genesee St.

The Geneva Police Department says that on May 17 around 2:15 a.m. officers were called to Genesee St. for a family trouble complaint.

Upon investigation, police say a male entered the victim’s residence through a window- and took their phone. After taking the cell phone- the male suspect then choked the victim until they lost consciousness.

Later in the morning police took Kieran D. Jackson, 27, into custody on two felony charges- including first-degree burglary and third-degree robbery.

Police say Jackson was held pending arraignment and will answer the charges at a later date in local court.
