New York State Police investigated a two-vehicle fatal crash that happened in the town of Sodus on Monday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m. troopers responded to the area of 6914 Sodus Center Rd. in the town of Sodus for a serious head-on crash.
A commercial vehicle was traveling eastbound and a passenger vehicle was westbound when the vehicles collided in the center of the road.
At this time, it is unclear which vehicle crossed over the center line and caused the crash. The operator in the westbound vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police.
The operator of the commercial vehicle was transported to Newark-Wayne Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The investigation remains active.
