Police in Ithaca are investigating after a person was set on fire inside a parked vehicle.
It happened on Saturday around 9 a.m. at the 100 block of Chestnut St. in the city.
According to police, the victim was airlifted to a regional trauma center.
Police say there’s a person of interest that they would like to speak with and that they are considering the investigation an ‘assault and arson’.
