Walworth woman used company credit card to make $200K in fraudulent charges

A Walworth woman was charged in Monroe County on multiple counts related to her theft as an employee at Frontier Communications.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Julie Shepard, 52, of Walworth is accused of making $200,000 in fraudulent charges- using the company’s credit card to do so.


Over the course of 14 months, Shepard is said to have charged merchandise, and over 800 gift cards on a company credit card.

The fraudulent purchases took place while she was employed in the accounts payable department.

She was released on appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
