Legion plan revealed in Geneva: Hotel, restaurant, and townhomes proposed along Seneca Lake

The long-term plan for the American Legion property along Seneca Lake in Geneva has finally been revealed.

Pine Ridge Construction Management of Williamsport, Pennsylvania has proposed a multi-use development that would include townhomes, a hotel, and restaurant with craft brewery on the 12.9 acre property, according to the Finger Lakes Times.

“This is an amazing property in what we believe is a truly beautiful city,” Jerry Lariviere, Pine Ridge president, told the FLT this week. “The potential for this project is really exciting, and we hope to continue to work diligently with the city, county and our partners to bring this to fruition.”

The redevelopment would require rezoning, which is contingent to the property’s sale.

The property has gone through a back-and-forth involving its sale. After a previous bidder backed out- the property was expected to come off the market. However, a short time after it was taken off the market- the latest bidder emerged.
