Deputies: Sodus Point man facing several charges after Rt. 104 traffic stop

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Sodus Point man following a roadside investigation in the town of Ontario.

Deputies arrested Brett Forgione, 40, for DWAI drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation, using a mobile device while driving, failure to surrender a suspended license, failure to keep right, and a number of other infractions.

The arrest stems from a traffic stop on Rt. 104 where Forgione failed field sobriety tests and was found to be in possession of cocaine.

He refused to submit a breath or blood sample and also refused to comply with a DRE evaluation.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
