The number of new unemployment claims filed in the U.S. over the last week fell again.
This time to a number that was the lowest it had been since the pandemic began.
There were 498,000 claims filed, which signaled continued rebound in the economy. While small business owners are still struggling to find workers- business is beginning to pick up, which is prompting many to go back to their jobs.
It’s not all good news though, the numbers are still significantly higher than the 230,000 applications per week before the pandemic began.
