Valentino retires from Geneva Housing Authority Board of Commissioners

Anthony Valentino has retired from the Board of Commissioners of the Geneva Housing Authority.

The move was effective April 4, according to the Finger Lakes Times. He will be succeeded by retired Finger Lakes Times publisher Phil Beckley, who was appointed to the post.

Beckley has served on the GHA board since 2010.

City Council has started a search for Valentino’s successor, and will ultimately fill the role on a permanent basis. The current term ends in May 2022.

Valentino is a city resident and the father of Mayor Steve Valentino.
