There are eight people running for seats that will come open at the end of the year on the Auburn school board.
The Citizen reports that eight people are pursuing three seats that are up for re-election. Each carries a three-year term.
The candidates include previous board president Kathleen Rhodes, Salvatore Giangreco, and Ian Phillips- all of which are incumbents. Challengers include Patrick Mahunik, Matteo Bartolotta, and Isabelle Wellauer.
Voting will take place Tuesday, May 18.
