On Thursday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo held an update on the state’s progress fighting the COVID-19 vaccine. He said that around 45% of the population has been vaccinated. Among the issues that the state needs to address, he said, was bolstering that vaccination rate, which has slowed. “Distribution has not slowed, we just have fewer people coming in,” Cuomo said. He said getting the ‘doubtful’ vaccinated is crucial to ending the pandemic.
