A wire-to-wire victory by the Syracuse men’s lacrosse team snapped a three-game ACC losing skid, taking down No. 5 Virginia 13-11.
Jakob Phaup dominated at the X, winning 24-of-27 restarts to give ‘Cuse a massive possession advantage, while Owen Hiltz (3-2) led the Orange in scoring. Owen Hiltz (2-2) notched four points in his first collegiate start, and Jamie Trimboli posted a hat trick.
