Deputies report the arrest of a 40-year-old for assault following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Deputies were called to a ‘family trouble’ complaint, which prompted investigation- and led to the arrest of Jessie Adams, 40, of Newark.
He’s accused of punching a female victim in the face multiple times causing physical injury. The incident took place inside a vehicle, which was in motion at the time of the incident on Pearl St.
Adams was transported to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment and will answer the assault charge at a later date.
