Police made three arrests altogether over the course of two days related to the illegal sale of drugs in the city of Auburn.
On Wednesday around 2:55 p.m. members of the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 5 Cross St. in the city of Auburn as part of an investigation into the sale of cocaine.
Investigators recovered 1/8 oz. of cocaine, inositol powder, two digital scales, and other packaging material. They also found upwards of $4,500 in cash.
As result, Harry Hurst III, 41, of that address was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and other misdemeanors. He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
On Tuesday, a search warrant was executed at 3 Spring St., where police recovered a half-ounce of cocaine, and more than 130 pills with a combined weight of over 50 grams.
Ingrid L. Lawrence, 47, and Joseph T. Vest, 47, both of that address were charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and other misdemeanors.
They will also answer the charges at a later date in local court.
