Deputies report the arrest of a Bloomfield man following an investigation into a disturbance.
Thomas Miller, 52, of Bloomfield was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, after violating a court order.
After violation of the court order, deputies learned that he had a previous contempt conviction in the last five years, which elevated it to the first-degree charge.
Deputies say that Miller was arraigned on April 15 and will answer the charge at a later date.
