The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 57-year-old Seneca Falls man following an investigation into illegally used public assistance in January.
Deputies arrested Bryan Rugenstein, 57, of Seneca Falls for fifth-degree welfare fraud and misuse of food stamps.
It’s alleged that Rugenstein allowed a person to unlawfully use his county benefits card in January.
He was issued an appearance ticket and will answer the charges at a later date.
