Deputies say a 38-year-old Victor man was charged with falsely reporting a crime and giving a false written statement to officers after an alleged vehicle theft.
Jeremiah Sprentall, 38, was arrested after police responded to a stolen vehicle complaint at the Camelot Court Apartments.
Police say it was determined that Sprentall reported his vehicle stolen and provided a statement when in fact the vehicle was lent to an acquaintance.
He was arrested and released. The charges will be answered at a later date.
