Police have released new information about the vehicle fire that was seen in Seneca Falls yesterday during the afternoon hours.
They say around 2:19 p.m. officers responded along with the Seneca Falls Fire Department to a trailer fire near the Ovid St. Bridge.
Upon arrival officers observed a trailer that was loaded with hay that was fully-engulfed in flames.
Traffic was diverted and Ovid St. was shut down for over an hour while crews worked at the scene. There were no injuries reported, but the trailer was destroyed.
Seneca Falls Highway and New York State Department of Transportation both assisted. The fire is under investigation.
