New York State Police say a Syracuse man is facing an array of felony charges after swapping barcodes on items at a number of Home Depot stores in Central New York.
The location in Cayuga County was among those hit in the string of incidents.
Jeffrey Gordon, 37, was charged with three counts of fourth-degree grand larceny as well as petit larceny.
The investigation began after loss prevention staff in Camillus discovered the scam. He utilized the self-checkout to execute it.
Altogether he completed more than 28 fraudulent transactions with a value of around $10,000.
