Deputies: Monroe County duo facing felony charges after string of Wayne County burglaries

Deputies report the arrest of two Monroe County men following an investigation into a string of burglaries that occurred in Walworth and Ontario.

Charles Gaylord, 48, of Fairport and William Bannister, 46, of Rochester were both charged with three counts of second-degree burglary.

Deputies say the felony charges stem from incidents where the two kicked in doors and unlawfully entered three separate residences and took items from inside.

The two were processed and arraigned at the Wayne County Jail. The charges will be answered at a later date.
