On Monday Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill into law addressing nursing home visitation.
The law allows each resident at nursing homes across the state to have at least two designated personal and compassionate car visitors.
These individuals will be exempt from general bans on visits- like the kind that came with the start of the pandemic. Those restrictions were only recently lifted.
The governor did not publicize signing the bill into law on his announcement page.
