North Carolina woman charged with DWI, resisting arrest after traffic stop in Seneca Falls

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a North Carolina woman following a traffic stop on 5&20.

On March 24 around 10 p.m. officers arrested Christal Marino, 40, of Raleigh, North Carolina for speed in zone, aggravated unlicensed operation, driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC of 0.8% or more, and resisting arrest.


Marino was stopped for speeding, during which it was determined that she was operating while intoxicated. It was later determined that her driving privileges were suspended for failing to appear in court.

When officers were placing Marino under arrest- she resisted, according to SFPD report. Ultimately, Marino was taken into custody without injury to any party and released on appearance tickets.
