Deputies say a 35-year-old Farmington man was taken into custody after an investigation following a sick or intoxicated driver complaint.
Deputies responded to State Rt. 5&20 finding a pickup truck near the back of a plaza occupied by Joseph Shantz, 35, of Farmington.
He’s alleged to have driven to that location while impaired and was ultimately charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs- as well as driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol.
He was issued traffic tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
