Deputies: Traffic stop in Sodus leads to array of charges for Ontario driver

Deputies say a traffic stop in the town of Sodus led to a number of charges for an Ontario driver.

Fred Gertsner-Wild III, 22, of Ontario was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while ability impaired by drugs, and speeding.


Deputies say the 22-year-old possessed concentrated cannabis with a weight of less than a quarter-ounce. It’s also alleged that during field sobriety tests and DRE evaluation- he was determined to be under the influence of drugs.

As result, he was transported to the Wayne County Jail and issued tickets. The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
