Deputies in Wayne County responded to a serious one-car crash that happened at the intersection of State Rt. 104 and Norris Rd. in Huron around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Maria Bank, 43, of Brooklyn was traveling east on Rt. 104 when she swerved off the road- and crashed into an embankment.
A passenger in the vehicle was airlifted to Upstate Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Three other passengers were transported to Upstate Medical with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by New York State Police, Alton Fire Department, Wolcott Fire Department, Sodus Town Ambulance, Finger Lakes Ambulance, Eastern Wayne Ambulance, and Mercy Flight.
The investigation into the cause of the crash was not released.
