Police report the arrest of a Syracuse resident following an investigation in the city of Geneva.
Isaiah Waller, 28, was charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree strangulation- both felonies- after an argument escalated into a physical altercation.
Waller is accused of entering the residence of a woman he had earlier argued with. He was not invited into the home, according to police, who said he entered unlawfully.
That’s when he choked the woman, causing her to lose consciousness. She was physically injured as result of the attack.
No additional information was provided about the victim’s condition.
