New York State has recalibrated guidance on events, as COVID-19 vaccines increase across the board.
There are stages to the increases, which will occur over the next 2-3 weeks.
First up will be the change on March 15- when events with 50 or fewer people will not require testing. Then, with testing- events can increase to 150 people.
Next will be March 22, when it jumps to 100 indoors and 200 outdoors without testing. The indoor testing threshold will remain the same.
By April 2 state officials say that the indoor threshold can increase to 150 people without testing- and 500 outdoors with testing.
The guidelines have changed numerous times in the last two months. At this point though, many are confident that allowances will continue trending upward.
