Deputies: Nearly $1,800 in video game equipment stolen from Shortsville home, pawned in Greece

Deputies in Ontario County report the arrest of a Manchester resident following an investigation into a reported burglary.

It happened in the village of Shortsville, according to deputies, who say that Marcis Worboys, 28, was taken into custody around 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday.

He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property as a felony after being discovered with nearly $1,800 worth of video gaming equipment.

Deputies say the items were pawned at a shop in Greece, New York.

He was taken into custody without incident and will answer the charges at a later date.
