More than 100 illegal phone calls were placed to a protected party from an inmate at the Ontario County Jail, according to investigators with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Kevin Henderson reports that on Tuesday Logan French, 19, of Canandaigua was charged with second-degree contempt after events that unfolded at the Ontario County Jail in February.
The incident that led to the contempt charge was described as a violation of a court order.
French is accused of attempting to contact a protected party by phone. In all, he completed over 100 calls to a protected party between February 20 and March 2.
As result, he was charged with second-degree contempt and arraigned on the charge. He’ll appear in local court at a later date.
