Deputies report the arrest of a Sodus man following an investigation into a traffic stop around 3 a.m. on Tuesday.
Phillip Bean, 33, of Sodus was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell, felony criminal possession of a controlled substance aggregate weight, and false personation.
It’s alleged that Bean knowingly and unlawfully possessed 17 grams of a controlled substance. It’s further alleged that upon contact with deputies, Bean misrepresenting himself- by providing a false name and date of birth.
He was identified later by New York State ID card, which was also found in his possession. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
