Farmington driver charged under Leandra’s Law after investigation at McDonalds

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 40-year-old Farmington resident following a sick or intoxicated driver complaint at the McDonalds restaurant in Rt. 96.

Mirlyne Jean, 40, of Farmington was charged with DWI, driving with a BAC over 0.08%, two counts of DWI under Leandra’s Law due to having a child in the vehicle, as well as endangering the welfare of a child.

All of the charges will be answered at a later date.

She was taken into custody without incident, according to deputies.
