The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested a Lyons man following an investigation into reported family trouble at a residence on Thursday.
It happened a little before 7 p.m., according to deputies, who detailed the incident in a press release early Friday morning.
Jamison Emanuel, 40, of Lyons was charged with criminal mischief, petit larceny, and harassment.
The charges stem from an investigation where it’s alleged that Emanuel grabbed a victim and shoved her to the floor. It’s further alleged that he threw the victims phone into a fish tank- causing damage to the device.
Before leaving Emanuel is accused of taking approximately $400 out of the victim’s wallet.
He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. The charges will be answered at a later date.
