Deputies in Wayne County report the arrest of a Williamson man following a domestic incident in Palmyra.
Rex Payne, 30, of Williamson was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child.
It’s alleged that on February 3 while traveling down Rt. 21 Payne became upside and punched the windshield of his girlfriend’s vehicle. The force of the blow caused it to break.
As it turned out, Payne was in violation of an order of protection, and was charged with violating it.
Payne was transported to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment.
